THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

I threw away my telly because I was being brainwashed to buy goodies
Force fed sexy bodies and being groomed to show our booty's.
Manipulated and persuaded to update, throw out, buy new
Instead of damn well fixing things and learning to make do
Directed by the media through division and rule
To bully the kind hearted and respect those that are cruel

I ditched my telly some years ago and it fucking well rocks
Because I'm now free to make up my own mind
and THINK OUTSIDE BOX

I'm about to ditch another kind of box - the one I call my home
A bungalow in wannabe suburbia, where the consumer chicken is grown

I'm Now... In favour of OFF-GRID living in the back of MY Luton box van
Bring it on because 2015 – I AM OUTTA HERE MAN!

3) Fully Psyched
Mike Campbell is an artist, writer, and former marketing director of a small scientific software company. After spending the better part of his twenties behind a desk, he’s now touring the country on a road trip with his dog. He has some interesting photos and stories to share.

Adam, Emily and Collette Harteau began their epic journey across America in October 2012. Adam is an artist and keen photographer. He wanted his travels to inspire him to create a new collection of art works and that is exactly what he did. Now two years on and one additional member to the family they are still travelling. Some brilliant blog tales and stunning photos. This just has to be in my top 3 favourite blogs.

Final.but by no way last My favourite favourite blog:
1) Vandogtraveller

This guy Mike Hudson Quit job, built campervan and now travels Europe.
Great Blog with a well documented diary of how he saves money travelling, what he gets up to. Some great photography and some pretty nifty ideas on living in a van and travelling on a budget. He Left his job October 2013 and set about converting his van into a living space. It took him 5 months and I reckon hes done a fantastic job. Mike Hudson has even incorporated a tracker map so viewers can keep up to date with all his journeys, how many miles he has done and where he is now.

Ok so its time you got to know me.

This is Yuri and like myself, he is not keen to have his picture taken.

I have been very productive over this past few months. Heres a looky at what i have been creating.

This is a Sam Rennie Mackintosh. Inspired by the one and only Scottish architect, designer, water colourist and artist.Charles Rennie Mackintosh
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Rennie_Mackintosh
I love his work, it has a timeless appeal and his work just about fits in with any era past or present.
I will be creating more of these slim decorative panels for sale and also as rewards for kind donations on my new Kickstarter appeal that i will be launching soon.

Here is some older work that I have done.

I am launching a new project in 2015 which will involve converting a Luton van like this one below in to living and workshop space and travelling around Europe creating cataloguing and photgraphing my travels.
The van will be completely off the grid hence the name of my blog: The Off-Grid Artist
Yeah I know, looks pretty ugle doesn't it?
However, over the coming months If i am successful with the crowdfunding This van will get a revamp and look something like this:

Once my one year travel is complete I will be hosting an exhibition in Glasgow 2016. Entitled "WINDOWS OF THE WORLD"

I am really excited and working on the pitch for my Kickstarter Project as we speak.
